Cookies are small browser-stored values. Similar technologies can store or retrieve information too.
Cookies can remember settings, maintain a session, measure use or support advertising. Browsers can also provide local or session storage. The important question is not the label but what is actually stored, why it is used and whether consent is required.
The current WinIntel site uses necessary consent controls and optional analytics.
Website delivery, consent management, optional analytics and remote fonts involve external service providers.
Netlify supports delivery of the website and form handling where a form is present.
Infrastructure providers may process standard request, security and service-operation data as part of delivering their service. WinIntel does not use that infrastructure for behavioural advertising.
The site requests font resources from Google Fonts.
A font request can disclose ordinary network information such as an IP address and browser request data to the provider. The WinIntel page code does not use Google Fonts as an analytics or advertising feature.
CookieYes provides the cookie banner, preference controls and consent records.
CookieYes may use necessary consent-management storage and record consent evidence, including a consent identifier, consent status, date and time and a pseudonymised or masked IP address, to operate and evidence the consent mechanism.
Google Analytics measures website use only after analytics consent.
When analytics is accepted, Google Analytics may receive measurement data such as page views, session statistics, approximate location and browser or device information. WinIntel does not use Google Analytics for advertising or personalised advertising on the current public website.
Optional analytics stay off until you choose to enable them.
The banner offers Accept analytics, Reject analytics and Manage preferences. Google Analytics sits behind CookieYes and Basic Consent Mode so analytics measurement is not permitted before analytics consent. You can change or withdraw your choice later through the Cookie settings control.
Use Cookie settings or your browser controls to manage stored website data.
Use the Cookie settings control on the website to review, change or withdraw your optional analytics choice at any time.
Most browsers let you view and remove cookies, block cookies from particular sites, or change storage permissions. The exact controls depend on your browser and device.
Blocking necessary network resources can affect presentation or form operation. If a feature stops working after browser or privacy controls are changed, you can contact WinIntel for an alternative route where practical.
This notice changes when the website's actual technology changes.
WinIntel will review this notice when relevant website technology, providers or storage practices change. Questions about cookies, browser storage or privacy can be sent to hello@winintel.co.uk.
